Toss for a Cause Bags Tournament

Grab a partner and "Toss for a Cause" at the Batavia Parks Foundation's annual bags tournament on Saturday, February 25 at 6:30 pm at the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St., Batavia, IL. Teams of two adults, 21 and up, will play a minimum of three games. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams. The cost is $50 per team and includes tournament; beer, wine, soda and water; snacks; and prizes.
Registration forms are available at the Park District Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., the Eastside Community Center and online at www.bataviaparks.org. Teams can also register by phone at 630-879-5235.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Batavia Parks Foundation, whose mission is to promote community and quality of life for all citizens by acquiring and distributing resources which enhance opportunities and advocate stewardship for open space, parks, facilities and recreational programs within the Batavia Park District.

The Premier Cornhole event of the winter in the Midwest is back for the 3rd year, and this year will be biggest and best yet. Last year we had 56 teams and payed out over $2500 in cash and prizes. There will once again be 3 divisions of play, and 1 in every 3 teams will receive cash or prizes. Double elimination format, with a best of 3 in the winners bracket, and single game in the losers bracket.
